How do you classify red wines?
We use a 5-step scale: Lighter > Light Body > Medium Bodied > Full Bodied > Bold. Lighter-bodied reds have more acidity and red fruit notes. Bolder reds usually come from warmer regions, showing black fruit notes, higher tannins, and more alcohol which gives them a richer texture. This scale will help you find a wine that matches your taste, whether you're after something fresh and easy or deep and intense.
